Product Description
Adastra DM-8 Digital Messaging Unit
Digital messaging unit for programmed audio playback. Audio files are stored on a removable SD card and can be transferred by inserting it into a computer or recording directly to the DM-8. Files are also stored on the SD as a separate file, which can be edited by a computer and saved for backup. Separate SD cards can be saved with different sounds and timings and swapped for different functions. A mic/line input can be used for recording or live announcements that can replace SD playback. A BGM line input is provided for playing background music with its own control level and is muted when playing messages or during paging. Up to 99 files can be programmed to play a specific audio file from the SD card, defined by 24 hour time and days of the week. The DM-8 can be added to any audio system to automatically play announcements, music or sound alerts.
