DECHO® The acoustic panel made in Italy
For acoustics, Decho® means sound-absorbing frame. Decho® was the first acoustic panel made of synthetic materials and today represents one of the most popular sound-absorbing panels for acoustic space treatment.
Decho® is a high-performance sound absorber, but also a furniture design element, easy to install and durable. Due to its simple and regular design, this panel can be easily installed in any architectural environment, adding its own aesthetic value.
The Decho® range offers a wide range of solutions in shapes, sizes, colors and custom prints.
Thanks to this flexibility, designers can offer endless synthetic solutions to their clients for standard wall or ceiling installation, as well as for custom acoustic furniture or surface coverage.
Made with innovative production methods and unfinished materials, they have been tested in hundreds of facilities and today are one of the leading products. Many designers know and appreciate Aural® panels and often include them in the most important acoustic correction and interior design projects.
The production of Aural® panels is based on advanced principles of ecological compatibility and environmental protection, because they are made only from recycled and recyclable plastic materials and do not contain formaldehyde.
In addition, Aural® acoustic panels are not made of fiberglass (fiberglass and rockwool) to prevent the spread of inhalable dust in the environment.
HOW IT IS MANUFACTURED BY DECHO® PANELS
Decho® sound absorbing panels are made with an inner perimeter frame (PVC or aluminum for large format) to give the panels straight and linear edges and to avoid changes in shape or some deformation over time. No wooden frame or accessories are used for the construction of the panels, in order to offer its customers fireproof certified products and durable.
The same approach applies to other materials used to make Decho® panels, such as polyester fibers (heat-welded and molten PET) and 100% polyester fabric cover. Both of these materials are fire resistant, durable in use and their characteristics do not change over time.
The principle of acoustic operation of Decho® panels is based on the concept of porosity sound absorption, in combination with the principle of "vibrating membrane". This special feature of Decho® absorbers is achieved by a specific process of thermo-smoothing of polyester fibers, which is the inner core of the panel. This production process significantly increases the sound absorption efficiency of Decho® panels even at low frequencies, where common sound absorption products are less efficient. In addition, the acoustic performance is further enhanced by the unique feature of the polyester fiber to produce amplitude of the incident sound energy, by vibrating and rubbing the threads that make up the material.
HEALTH AND ECONOMIC PLANNING
The entire production process of Decho® panels respects the environment, using recycled and recyclable materials and avoiding the use of synthetic fiberglass (mineral, fiberglass and rockwool) or formaldehyde. In order to guarantee the safety standards of its products, the company selected special types of fabric for the outer lining of the panels, certified according to the highest standards (Class 1 - Oeko-Tex).
DECHO® PRINT EDITION
Decho® panels can be printed with any digital HD images provided directly by the customer or taken from shared online photo files, where you can choose from millions of HD images organized by objects (landscapes, celebrities, abstract designs, etc.). .etc.).
The printed version of Decho® is commonly used for decorating walls in living spaces, offices, schools and more: this is the ideal solution to combine aesthetics and acoustics.
DECHO® ACOUSTIC LAMPS
Decho® panels can be implemented by incorporating LED lighting systems to turn these acoustic panels into stylish sound-absorbing lamps. Decho® acoustic light represents an innovative technical tool for managing acoustics and lighting comfort in any environment. The panels can be supplied with standard lamps, available in many shapes, power and technical characteristics or with lights provided by the customer.
APPLICATIONS
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The principle of acoustic operation of Aural® panels is based on the concept of "porosity sound absorption", which is related to the concept of "vibrating membrane". The panel acquires these characteristics after compression and heat-smoothing of the polyester fibers, and this is a highly efficient system taking into account the range of sound from 200 to 4000 Hz (typical of human speech). This panel performs well even at low frequencies, where common panels may not be as efficient. The acoustic benefit is higher due to the ability of the polyester fibers to dissipate the sound energy, through the vibrations and the rubbing of its threads.
INSTALLATION
Aural® panels can be installed in different ways: glued to the ceiling, hung with cables, on the wall. Installation work is very easy to do and does not require specific skills. For this reason, the installation can be done directly by the customer with the help of the technical sheets included in the supply.
