When we are asked to choose the sound system necessary for our space, we should first know the individual categories of systems that exist. A very basic division categorizes audio systems into two broad categories:
- in the systems intended for domestic use, and
- in the systems intended for professional use
So according to the above criteria, we will be able to look for the right products for our space by adapting them to our requirements. However, based on our experience with audio installations in individual spaces, we notice that in many cases, systems are installed and used that are not intended for the needs they are supposed to cover. Consequently the result is incomplete and in many cases disastrous for the system. We should therefore, in every case where we are asked to choose the appropriate system for our area, to carry out the relevant market research, to discuss with the experts on the subject, and to make our decisions based on the real data, always within the financial frameworks that we set as a limit to our individual markets. It is often preferable to obtain a more economical system within the specifications defined by our space and our needs, than to proceed with the purchase of an expensive system, which will however later prove to be unsuitable for the use for which it is intended.
